👚 What should my dancer wear to class?
At Heather’s Dance Life, we encourage all dancers to wear clothing that allows them to move freely and feel confident. When dancers feel good in what they’re wearing, they dance their best!
While we don’t require strict uniforms, proper dance attire is strongly encouraged for safety, confidence, and performance quality.
Recommended Dancewear:
• Leotards, tights, dance pants, or sports tops
• Hair should be pulled back and secured out of the face
Footwear by Class Style:
• Ballet – Ballet shoes
• Tap – Tap shoes
• Jazz – Jazz shoes
• Hip Hop – Clean sneakers (not worn outside)
• Tumbling – Bare feet
• Contemporary/Lyrical – Ballet shoes or bare feet
We understand that life happens and dancers may occasionally miss a class. If your dancer misses a regularly scheduled class, they are welcome to attend a make-up class within 4 weeks of the missed date.
Make-Up Class Guidelines:
• Dancers may attend any age-appropriate class listed on our schedule (excluding Company classes)
• Make-up classes must be used within 4 weeks of the missed class
• There is no need to pre-register, but please check in at the front desk upon arrival
• Make-up classes cannot be used as regular enrollment in a different class
• Tuition must be current and up to date in order to attend a make-up class

At Heather’s Dance Life, tuition is billed monthly and due in advance to hold your dancer’s spot in class.
Tuition Details:
• Tuition is due on the 20th of each month for the upcoming month
(Example: September tuition is due August 20th)
• Tuition is billed automatically through your online parent portal
• Payments can be made via credit card or cash paid to the front desk before the 20th.
• Tuition remains the same each month regardless of holidays or absences

⏰ What happens if my tuition is late?
To keep our classes running smoothly for all families, on-time tuition payments are essential. We completely understand that things come up-but consistent payments allow us to provide the best experience for our dancers.
• A $30 late fee will be applied to all accounts not paid by the 25th of the month
• If tuition is not paid and no Membership pause has been requested, the dancer's enrollment will be dropped and their class spot released
• Re-enrollment will be based on availability and will require a new membership fee

$40 per dancer or $50 per family
Charged annually on August 11th (start of the season or at the time of initial registration if joining mid-season).
This fee includes:
• Automatic Rollover Enrollment each season
• Access to personalized class recommendations
• Priority early access to registration, events, and performance opportunities
• Exclusive member-only perks and surprises throughout the year
• A guaranteed spot in your selected class(es)

💃 What is Rollover Enrollment?
Once enrolled, your dancer’s spot is automatically saved each season unless you notify us in writing that you wish to drop. This ensures less paperwork for you and consistency for your dancer’s training.

⏸️ Membership Pause Option
Need to take a short break? We offer one Membership Pause per season to accommodate temporary time away.
• Membership Pause Fee: $25
• Maximum Pause Duration: 4 consecutive weeks
• Limit: One pause per dancer, per season
• Request Deadline: Notify us in writing by the 1st of the month you’d like to pause
During the pause:
• Your dancer’s spot in class is held
• No tuition is charged
• Membership perks resume automatically once you return

🔄 Dropping & Rejoining
If you drop your membership and wish to return later in the season, re-registration will be based on class availability. A new $40 membership fee (or $50 per family) will apply if your return falls outside the Membership Pause window.

Parents are always welcome to stay and observe, or you may simply drop off and pick up your dancer—whatever works best for your family. We want you to feel comfortable and connected!
🚗 What is the drop-off and pick-up procedure?
To help our classes run smoothly, please arrive on time for drop-off and pick-up. Our teachers follow a tight class schedule and appreciate dancers being ready to start class promptly.
If you’re running late for pick-up, no problem—just let us know as soon as possible by texting 702-860-7136 so we can ensure your dancer is safe and supervised.

Consistent attendance helps dancers grow in skill and confidence. Please aim to attend weekly and arrive a few minutes early. Tardiness can disrupt class flow and cause your dancer to miss warm-up.

❌ Withdrawal Policy
If you need to withdraw from class, we require a written notice at least 30 days prior to the next billing cycle. No refunds are given for partial months.

Photos and videos may be taken during class or events for use on our website and social media. If you prefer your child not be included, please notify us in writing.
